Be a Friend of Music on Shelter Island!
Shelter Island Friends of Music was founded on the idea that great live music should be accessible to all, not just those who can afford a ticket. That’s why our volunteer board has presented free live concerts by world-class musicians on Shelter Island for more than 47 years. We are also bringing free live music to schools and other community centers.
The donations we collect at the door cover only about 10-20% of the production costs to present a concert. Our rest comes from supporters like you who want to keep the Friends of Music community thriving on Shelter Island.
